The Congress was organized by Fundación DOCOMOMO Ibérico, the Colegio Oficial de Arquitectos de la Región de Murcia and the Comunidad Autónoma de la Región de Murcia (Consejería de Fomento e Infraestructuras), with the collaboration of the Ordem dos Arquitectos (Portugal) and Asemas.
Three were the areas of the congress: “Projects and buildings related to the Mediterranean in terms of geography and form”, : “Projects and buildings related to the Mediterranean located in other geographies”, and y “Modern reinterpretations of vernacular spatial or construction systems”.
