Barcelona, 1925-1973
Jordi Adroer studied at the Agrupació Escolar Blanquerna until the Spanish Civil War. He graduated as a Technical Architect in 1949 and as an Architect in 1953.
He worked as a professor of Representation Systems at the Escuela Técnica de Aparejadores de Barcelona between 1957 and 1967, and, at the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Barcelona, as assistant professor of Projects IV, between 1956 and 1966, and as associate professor to the Chair of Architect’s Technology and Business Organization since 1966, from which he obtained the Chair in 1968.
He developed his professional activity individually and in collaboration with Robert Terradas Via, whom he met in his last years as a student at the School of Architecture when Terrades was the director of the School and with whom he shared his teaching work as professor of projects. A professional relationship and a close friendship began between them, which led them to share an office on Calle Córcega in Barcelona.
